SmallerCity gives you control over who can view your contact information.
In addition to the option of making your contact information available to all users, you can limit the various components of your contact information to just neighbors who are registered with SmallerCity or just neighbors who you have previously indicated you know.
Neighbors are defined as users who have accounts on SmallerCity that live within 3,000 meters of your home. All of the users who live within the circle to the right are automatically categorized as neighbors.
Trusted Neighbors are defined by you. On the
home page, simply click on the homes of neighbors that you know and once their names appear, click on the “add to trusted neighbors” link.
There is no complicated “friending” process like on other social networks such as Facebook or MySpace. Once you have added someone as a “trusted neighbor,” they will automatically be able to view as much of your contact information as you have permitted in the following controls.
